Metal Palms makes fragrance in South Florida. Both halves of the name are local.

The idea

Florida has two tenses.

Now

One is happening now. Cold air in a room that costs money. Linen, glass, and the humidity pressing on the other side of it.

Remembered

The other already happened. A postcard somebody kept. Warm, a little faded, the brass gone green at the corners.

Same place. Same palm. Different age.

Metal does the same thing. Polish it and it is a mirror. Leave it out and it turns.

Those are the two lines. Polished and Patina.

Where it stands

Nothing is for sale yet. The first fragrance has not been mixed.

Made by hand, in small batches, from raw materials rather than pre-made accords.

The list

No schedule. You will hear when there is something to smell.
